Let me help you document the beauty of motherhood for your clients
If there’s anything more challenging than launching your own photography business, it’s doing it while raising kids! I officially launched my website and threw myself into motherhood photography just three weeks after my third child was born. Despite the craziness (and sleep deprivation!) of three kids ages three and younger, I couldn’t wait to begin celebrating motherhood with other mamas who love this part of life.
The truth is, the first couple of years in business were an endless, frustrating struggle. I wasn’t an overnight success story like I thought I’d be; clients weren’t booking as quickly as I wanted in the beginning, and I had no idea how to invest well in myself as a photographer and in my business.
I wasted a lot of effort, time and money trying to find the magic bullet to success as a motherhood photographer. I’ll save you time if this is where you’re at – there isn’t one.
Don’t give up hope though, because you absolutely can have a thriving photography biz while enjoying time with your family without the struggle! All it takes is investing wisely in your education, whether that’s learning more about lighting, posing, client communication, editing or any of the other skills you need an an entrepeneur. I’ve taught photography classes on these topics – and many others – since I found my groove as a motherhood photographer, and I love helping others be successful, too!
My clients are overjoyed with their beautiful photos and delighted with the experience I provide – even the guys who normally hate being photographed. Let me show you how to take gorgeous images and guarantee your clients love working with you. I struggled to figure all this stuff out, which means you don’t have to!
These days, I’m routinely fully booked months in advance and I work exclusively with dream clients. I schedule sessions around my family, which means I prioritize time with my husband and daughters, and contribute to professional publications to help other new and hobbyist photographers make their big biz dreams come true. I’d love to work with you and learn more about the goals you have for your motherhood photography business!
